Grading

Evaluation methods

The evaluation methods consists of:

  • Continuous assessment: Written work, Practical exercises / Evaluated reports

Continuous assessments

During the semester different controls will be done. These are written exams and evaluated labs.

Written exams

There will be two written exams during the semester. The written exams will be a mix between multiple choice questions (QCM) and practical exercises (on paper).

Labs

The labs are evaluated on the code quality (coding good practices; 10 coding commandments), the description of the work done during coding (commits containing errors, fixing, test descriptions, etc.), and of course the proper functioning of the code.

Final grade

The final grade is a combination of the continuous assessments.

\[Grade_{final-spring} = \frac{\frac{exam_1 + exam_2}{2}+\frac{\sum^n lab}{n}}{2}\]
